4. Service Agreements and Contracts

4.1 Quotations and Proposals

All quotations and proposals provided by SunCatcher Power are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Quotations are based on site assessments and are subject to final technical feasibility verification.

4.2 Work Orders

Upon acceptance of a quotation, a formal work order will be issued detailing the scope of work, specifications, timeline, payment terms, and other relevant terms. Work commences only upon receipt of signed work order and advance payment as specified.

4.3 Payment Terms

Payment terms are typically structured as follows:

• Advance: 30% of total contract value upon work order confirmation
• Material Delivery: 40% upon delivery of major components to site
• Installation Completion: 20% upon completion of installation
• Commissioning: 10% upon successful commissioning and GESCOM meter installation

Payment terms may vary based on project size, customer profile, and specific requirements. Payment terms are clearly specified in each work order.

4.4 Timeline and Delays

Project timelines are estimated based on normal working conditions and GESCOM processing times. SunCatcher Power is not liable for delays caused by:

• GESCOM inspection delays or procedural changes
• Adverse weather conditions
• Supply chain disruptions or component shortages
• Force majeure events
• Customer-requested changes or delays

5. Warranty and After-Sales Service

5.1 Product Warranty

Solar modules typically come with 25-year performance warranty from manufacturers. Inverters have 5-10 year warranty depending on the manufacturer and model. Specific warranty terms are provided in the work order and product documentation.

5.2 Workmanship Warranty

SunCatcher Power provides a 5-year workmanship warranty covering installation defects. This warranty covers labor and materials required to rectify installation-related issues, but does not cover component failures covered under manufacturer warranties.

5.3 Warranty Claims

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with details of the issue. SunCatcher Power will assess the claim and arrange for rectification as per warranty terms. Response time for warranty claims is typically 48-72 hours for assessment.

6. Subsidy and Government Schemes

6.1 PM Surya Ghar Subsidy

For residential systems under PM Surya Ghar, SunCatcher Power assists with subsidy applications at no additional cost. However, subsidy approval and disbursement are subject to government policies and procedures beyond our control. We do not guarantee subsidy approval or disbursement timelines.

6.2 Scheme Changes

SunCatcher Power is not responsible for changes in government subsidy schemes, eligibility criteria, or subsidy amounts. Changes in government policies may affect project economics and timelines.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of SunCatcher Power Private Limited or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:
